Super Mario Bros. Wonder Unleashed: Nintendo’s Exciting Announcement for Switch

Nintendo has announced a new 2D side-scroller entry in the Super Mario series called Super Mario Bros. Wonder. The game will be released on October 20, 2023, and will be available for pre-order through the Nintendo eShop. The game will feature Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, and Daisy as playable characters. Super Mario Bros. Wonder will deviate from the typical “New” Super Mario Bros. style of games with all-new power-ups, including the Wonder Flower, which can turn Mario and his friends into an elephant.

The game will also introduce unpredictable effects such as pipes coming alive, hordes of enemies appearing, and characters changing their looks. Super Mario Bros. Wonder looks like a bold new direction for Super Mario Bros. 2D games.
